Cleaning wax

To remove wax from glass votive jars, put some soap in the jar, then pour in boiling water. The wax will melt and rise to the surface, then set in an easy to remove layer that doesn't stick to the sides because of the soap :)

Also,if you spill wax on the carpet, all you need to do is place a paper towel over the wax and iron it. The wax will melt and set into the paper towel, thus removing itself from the carpet. You will need to go over some spots multiple times to remove all of the wax.
